Pineapple dress pattern

I wanted to share the dress patterns I have been crocheting so far. They are not my own pattern. So giving credits is a must for a someone who loves this craft. For the pineapple dress which I crocheted for a 6 month old, these are the diagrams I followed. I cannot completely remember the exact number of stitches I used. But these two diagrams are my source.

With these, I adjusted according to the size required. Hope this is helpful.

Source : Pinterest, Google, and other blogs I came across

Final result of the dress I crocheted.

Addition to the dress

I have been out of action here for a while now. Its time to catch up all I have missed. I would like to share all my work here. Firstly is the continuation to the dress I last uploaded on April. Learning the sizes is very important and sizing chart is a must. Unfortunately, when I learnt this I came to know the yarn I was working with was out of stock and nobody knew when it will be back in stock. In India, the arrival of new yarns from various  is impressively increasing but we have to be first to grab it. Else, we will be left with disappointment. So, when I learnt I cannot continue with the yarn I'm using, I decided to finish it on a safe length and decided to add lace. I chose a 3 inch wide a equally matching design lace and attached it. This made me realize lace and crochet does go hand on hand. I found it did add an extra grace to the dress. Luckily my opinion and my friend's opinion who decided to purchase this dress was on compete sync. She too liked the idea. Happy me, I was all excited with the outcome and proud to flaunt it. Here is the end result.
For my other dress, I add a cute elephant applique and a satin ribbon belt.

Good or bad, it is always worth experimenting. By doing so, we will for sure learnt the many nuances in our field.

Baby dresses

I'm lucky enough to crochet these beauties. Each one of the dress is very unique in design and its absolute pleasure for a crocheter to try new things. The dress above is for a 1 year old and the dress below is for 6 months baby girl. Lace was the concept I chose for both the dresses. The picture below is my favorite Pineapple Lace Crochet dress. If anyone asks me to keep creating these kind of dresses, I'll be happy to create throughout till I say "Enough", which I think I will hesitate to say. :)

Quickie Eggless Oatmeal Muffin for breakfast

When I found out that my old muffin tray will not fit my oven, I decided to  buy a small cupcake tray and thanks to Bakewala for the prompt delivery. They are super good with respect to both service and quality of the accessories that we buy.

I wanted to feel good about hogging my baked goodies also dont want to feel bad I'm hogging all fatty food. So decided to give a quick change to the usual Muffin I would love to have.
Here is my recipe for a quick eggless oatmeal muffin for all who want to feel less guilty and more good.

For a serving of 6

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup Kellogg's Corn flakes ( coarsely powdered)
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup oats
2 tbsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup milk ( Soy or regular)
1/3 cup oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Procedure:
Always mix the dry ingredients  first the start adding all the wet ingredients. Gently mix all . Preheat the oven at 180C and bake for about 20-25 mins until the muffin is baked completely. Do check between 20-25 mins, do not over bake it for the muffin might become very dry.
Hope you like it. Post in your comments after trying it out.
